THE MARINE TOY BOX

Beginning in 1991, the Marines of the Tri Rivers Detachment started collecting new toys for the less-fortunate children in the Salina area. All the money raised for the MARINE TOY BOX is used to purchase new toys. The toys are delivered to the Salvation Army for distribution shortly before Christmas.

In the past 19 years, the MARINE TOY BOX has provided in excess of $125,000 worth of toys to an estimated 14,000 children.

DODGE RAMINATOR

For the past 6 years, the Tri Rivers Detachment major fundraiser for the MARINE TOY BOX has been the Dodge Raminator Ride Truck at Marshall Automotive Group Salina Kansas. The Detachment members sell ride tickets and operate a concession stand.

The Raminator will be back in Salina 9 AM until 5 PM on October 8, 2011.
