THE MARINE TOY BOX

The Tri-Rivers Detachment purchased and delivered to the Salvation Army $8500.00 worth  of toys for distribution to less-fortunate children in the Salina area for Christmas 2011.

"Thank you " to everyone who contributed to the Toy Box; to all who assisted in the toy purchase and to the Walmart associates who made the toy purchase easy.

Don Vineyard (r) was honored at the Marine Corps Birthday Celebration with the Distinguished Service Award and Medal for his long service as the Detachment Paymaster. Don has announced his decision to not to seek another term in the January election.

The Tri-Rivers Detachment raised $2000 for the Marine Toy Box on 8 October 2011 selling Raminator Ride tickets at Marshall Automotive Group Salina.
